Rates
The medical ultrasounds at Echocentrum het Lichtpunt are fully reimbursed; you will receive a referral for this from your midwife.
All elective ultrasounds, at your own request, must be paid for by you after the ultrasound. Please ask our practice assistant about the options.
13 and 20-week ultrasound rates Echocentrum het Lichtpunt:
You can have the 13-week ultrasound performed between 12 weeks and 3 days and 14 weeks and 3 days. For the 20-week ultrasound, the due date is between 18 and 21 weeks, but preferably in the 19th week of pregnancy. We have entered into an agreement for this with the Regional Centre for Prenatal Screening (MUMC+) in Maastricht.
The results will be discussed with you verbally immediately. You receive a folder with photos as standard with the ultrasound.
Elective ultrasound rates Echocentrum het Lichtpunt:
An elective ultrasound offers expectant parents the chance to see their baby before birth. This ultrasound takes place at your own request and is not reimbursed by the health insurer. From 15 weeks, you can choose to find out the gender of your baby. Upon request, we will record the gender for you. A gender determination is 99% certain.
You can pay for the elective ultrasound in cash or by debit card.
