13 & 20 week ultrasound
At Echocentrum het Lichtpunt, you have been in trusted hands for professional medical ultrasounds for over 20 years. In our warm, calm environment, we take the time for personal attention and clear explanations. You are free to choose where to have your 13- and 20-week ultrasounds performed: with us in Nuth or at the hospital. For these ultrasounds, we collaborate with all midwives and the Regional Centre for Prenatal Screening (MUMC+) in Maastricht. This ensures you receive expert care that meets all national quality standards.
Elective ultrasound
in black and white or color
An elective ultrasound’ is an ultrasound you have done at your own request, purely for your enjoyment. You want to follow your baby’s development. The sonographer takes plenty of time for this and explains exactly what you see. You can come for a fun ultrasound as early as 10 weeks. From 15 weeks, it is possible to determine the gender of your baby with 99% certainty. If desired, we will record the gender for you. The best time for a 4D HDlive ultrasound is between 26 and 29 weeks.

Our ultrasound center collaborates with midwifery practices and hospitals in the Limburg region. You will receive the results personally from our sonographer after the ultrasound. From the moment you arrive, you will experience the tranquillity of the home-like atmosphere. This makes the exciting 13- and 20-week ultrasounds a special experience and an unforgettable moment.
